杰恩和劳拉两姐妹，在听闻父亲患上老年痴呆症后，重返故乡去探望。劳拉工作很忙，家里还有两个年纪尚小的孩子，而杰恩正努力尝试跟总把工作放在第一位的丈夫生个孩子。两人都有各自的家庭需要照料。劳拉认为父亲有可能需要全天候的看护，杰恩则希望情况不会那么糟糕，然而随着父亲日益老迈，总需要有人在身旁。心思纷乱的两姐妹，在随后与父亲的相处中，开始重新审视自己的生活，逐渐体会到亲情的可贵……。A young newlywed couple find themselves trapped in a network of underground caves. With her husband injured, the new bride is forced to find her way back to the surface in order to save his life.
